Flowzer
Flowzer improves the unit´s efficiency by controlling the inverter pumps on board the unit and continuously adapting the waterflow based on the current load.
Main functionality
- Control of variable flow systems
- Plant configurations supported:
- Inverter pumps (regulated in 2 steady points)
- Full primary system
- Primary + secondary system (pressure control)
- Primary + secondary system (temperature control)
Added Value
- Save pumping energy (as much as possible depending on load request)
- Improve unit efficiency at part load conditions
- Improve plant temperature stability
- Integrated control of inverter pumps, no external HW required
- Plug&play solution, Swegon certified
- No need to install additional items for minimum water flow control
- Enhanced comfort due to correct balance of primary/secondary loop
- Lower CAPEX (primary pumps only) in case of full primary system
- Factory pre-settings

How it works
Flowzer controls inverter pump groups, typically on board the unit.
Lower load allows lower pump speed. Flowzer removes the need of water flow regulating valve on the primary circuit
Primary + Secondary hydronic plants
- Flowzer logic balances primary and secondary flow to avoid inefficient water recirculation
- Water flow is controlled as a function of temperature on the primary side
- Minimum water flow is always guaranteed by measuring the pressure drop across the units plate exchanger
Full Primary hydronic plants (not presented in the picture)
- Water flow is controlled as a function of plant pressure
- Minimum water flow is always guaranteed by measuring the pressure drop across the plate exchanger, if needed the bypass valve is opened and regulated
Technical details
- Variable flow management is integrated into the unit controller
- Inverter pumps are controlled by the unit controller
- Temperature and/or pressure probes are connected to the unit switchboard
- In case of full primary system, the actuator of the bypass valve is controlled by the unit controller
- All connections are hardwired
