Residential air handling unit (598 x 315 x 700 mm, Ø125 mm) with rotary heat exchanger suitable for kitchen installation in smaller homes.

R2 can be integrated with the cooker hood for placement above the cooker. The unit is built to standard dimensions and can be installed in line with existing cabinet frames and hatches. Cabin door can be installed as the cover plate to fully integrate the unit into the kitchen furniture. Also white, black or stainless metal cover plates for the front hatch are available as an accessory.

The ventilation unit has intelligent demand-controlled humidity function (RH) as standard. CO2 and VOC automation are available as accessory. Intelligent anti-frost protection ensures continuous ventilation and automatic summer function with passive cooling helps during summer. Also external coils for heating and cooling are available as accessories.

SMART - R2 is available with Smart control system. The ventilation unit can be controlled with integrated CASA Jazz cooker hood, a separate Smart control panel or mobile phone (Smart Access as an accessory) and it can be connect to the automated building management system with SEM Modbus module or configurable I/O.
